Wednesday, August 29, 2012 - Very nice but lacking a certain something - like a beautiful old lady who had to stop dancing to catch her breath for a bit. There is a certain tiredness that seems to overlay the whole effort at this point. Certainly smooth, mature, balanced with all of the usual "old pinot" flavors, but just a bit flat. Have more bottles and will open them over the next few years. Perhaps its just this bottle or perhaps the whole lot is going through a closed period at the moment in its development.
