Friday, September 24, 2021 - This is a beautifully aged elegant, soft, pinot with brilliant color and wonderfully delineated fruit, which still maintains a bit of tannic structure. The fruit was predominantly strawberry with a touch of grapefruit for a bit of tart citric zest. It also had a remarkable salinity to it that really smacked of sea air. The tannins here still have texture, and there is simply a depth to the nose and palate you'd be lucky to savor.
