Thursday, March 25, 2010 - Popped and poured. Notes of black cherry, menthol and a hint of brown sugar/caramel on the nose. The menthol like smell worried me a bit, but on the palate, this wine is rocking--doing very well. Not the silkiest of wines, but it holds up very well and assuaged my fears that this wine was over the hill. It's not. Not at all.
