Saturday, December 25, 2010 - PnD let breathe for 2 hours. Solid claret colored zin not saturated. Eathry blackberry leather and tobacco nose. Light to medium weight not too tannic. Earthy blackberry flavors with a leathery finish. Fairly subdued and could use a bit more fruit. Good with Xmas turkey. Did not wow. Don't think it will get any better than it is now as it did not change much over the course of the several hours that it was opened and drunk.
