Thursday, March 10, 2011 - Decanted approx. 1 hour ... This is a refined and restrained Zin blend. Very food friendly (doesn't overwhelm), with a sophisticated edge. The fruit has blended and, while it's definitely not in the background, it's much more mellow than when I first tasted this vintage. The entire feeling is of a very well-balanced, and well-made, wine.
