Wednesday, March 29, 2006 - Very dark, inky ruby, black cherry and a hint of sweet olive on the nose which is very expressive. Shows gloriously ripe fruit on the palate, a rusty, iodine quality, very high tannin - but already quite integrated. With time (and from a different bottle) there was just a hint of rubber in the background, but almost hidden by the pure ripe fruit.
