Sunday, May 7, 2006 - Decanted about one hour, fabulous wine. On the nose, I got a strong note of blueberries, reminiscent of a '94 Bryant Family in its youth. That continued on to the palate, along with other dark fruits including black cherries and a great chocolate note. The wine has terrific structure, and is clearly built for the long haul. A wall of tannins finishes the wine, but they are silky and not obtrusive in any way. Although way too young, this was a terrific bottle of wine. It will be hard to keep my hands off other bottles.
