Saturday, May 16, 2009 - rather muted aromas of blackberry and cassis, this never really delivered for me, maybe my expectations were too high. Tasted at Liquid Assets Hillside Select Vertical tasting, the '96 outshone it. Don't get me wrong, it is a very good wine but not comparable to the 2001, 1991 or 1995 even.
