Saturday, January 25, 2020 - Decanted 3 hrs. Opaque, almost black. Bq w chocolate, pipe tobacco, blackberries, dark cherries, touch of herbs (laurel), some oak. Full body w sandy tannins, good acidity, plenty of jammy fruit (cherries, plums). Lavender in background. Good balance. Excellent until you reach the aftertaste, which isn't very long and has no complexity. Is perhaps just past its peak, but nowhere near old age. Considering its price (16 euros in 2010), an absolute steal!!
