Sunday, December 17, 2023 - 3 hr decant; served with braised Mediterranean brisket. Dark purple, with herbal notes on the nose. Full bodied, yet soft on the tongue, with a velvety mouthfeel. Tannin still showing a slight bit of grip. Excellent pairing with the brisket. Got better as the meal progressed. Perhaps will be even better in another a year or two.
