Saturday, May 22, 2010 - Decanted and started drinking after about 25 minutes. The wine started out with great cherry fruit on the nose, and on the palate bing cherry (some tartness) and a lot of minerality, with a pretty tannic finish. After about an hour in the glass/decanter, this started to smooth out - the tannins and minerality started to mellow out. The mouthfeel and finish on this wine was great for $20.
