Wednesday, July 25, 2018 - Another excellent Chevaliers du Tastevin bottling. It is a mature wine, with loads of tertiary nuance. The nose has plenty of woodsy, mushroom/truffle things going on along with some Asian spice, smoke, pine needle sap and freshly tilled earth. It is sweet and vinous in the mouth, with a lacy texture that caresses the gums. There's a gentle flex of tea leaf tannin on the finish and length is good.
