Wednesday, November 21, 2012 - Consumed at the SAFW Reunion. This had a complex nose and flavors of blackberry, soft black currant, raspberry, violets, some black pepper, a touch of meatiness, spice, cigar box. In the mouth, it has big, highly concentrated and succulent velvety fruit. Great structure and balance. Smooth and velvety on the long finish. A top tier syrah. Many thanks and appreciation to the aficionado who brought this wine to the tasting.
