Tuesday, August 12, 2014 - This wine was opened with the Coravin system at home. The wine was clear and mid level garnet (with a slight orange tinge) in colour. The wine had quite a lot of red cherries and some smokiness on the nose. These same smells were tasted in the glass but add to that some burnt spices. The tannins were mid level and the acidity was quite light. This was a very enjoyable bottle tonight.
