Monday, September 7, 2020 - 1.5 hour decant. I enjoyed this bottle so much more than prior ones. The extra bottle age has helped this evolve and come together. The alcohol is now well integrated and the dense fruit bomb has softened and the wine become more complex. Although clearly Syrah dominated, the Grenache and Viognier are now delineated and the Viognier adds a wonderful Côte-Rôtie sophistication. Got one left and look to enjoy it sometime in the next year or two.
