Wednesday, March 6, 2013 - I’m really glad that I had the patience to sit on this CC for a few years, as the last 3 years have certainly been of benefit. At once spry and exhibiting plenty of snappy Sangiovese red fruit, acidity, and a welcoming dryness on the finish. This is balanced by a subtle richness that is felt more in texture than actual taste, and slightly cool mint tones and just a touch of chocolate. Still a bit pricey for a Chianti Classico, but I forgot about what I paid for it back in 2010.
