At once spry and exhibiting plenty of snappy Sangiovese red fruit, acidity, and a welcoming dryness on the finish. This is balanced by a subtle richness that is felt more in texture than actual taste, and slightly cool mint tones and just a touch of chocolate. Still a bit pricey for a Chianti Classico, but I forgot about what I paid for it back in 2010.
