Tuesday, August 21, 2012 - First bottle of this wine that we have opened in two years and it is in excellent form. Translucent garnet color. A generous ripe red fruit and earth nose. The dominant flavor elements are cherry and clove. My wife is also picking up a smoky incense note. This is excellent. We have been drinking entirely too little Pinot Noir as of late.
