Friday, April 2, 2010 - Another great wine, similar to the 2005 and 2007 we tasted that night. Compared to the 2005, the 2006 was slightly more fruit forward and a little bit less complex. We still tasted the chalk and soil, but the fruit appeared much earlier and dominated the proceedings. Awesome wine - it would be interesting to see if it becomes more like the 2005 with some more time in the bottle.
