Tuesday, December 22, 2020 - A fun-loving Italian sparkler which starts with strawberries and candied apple on the nose. Off-dry with the same red fruit flavors coming through on the pallate along with a bit minerality through notes of river rocks. Worth noting that while this wine was very good when ice cold, I found it actually improved as it warmed in the glass and continued to be enjoyable all the way to close to room temperature. Paired wonderfully with a virtual 2020 Christmas get together! [12/22/20]
