Tuesday, August 11, 2009 - Picked up strong hints of coffee right out of the bottle, but after an hour in the glass, the nose closed down. This is a nice, chewy wine. Hints of cranberries on the attack, then the tannins come on full force on the mid-palate, all the way to the long finish.
