Saturday, August 29, 2009 - Soft, ripe and quite attractive, with a good depth of flavour. It was a bit subdued at first, but opened out to show a thick texture of ripe blackberry/blackcurrant fruit with a hint of aniseed. There is still some tannin; overall, quite youthful but enjoyable now.
