Thursday, January 1, 2009 - ripe creamy soapy, yet well integrated. outdoor tasting: harlem garden, 22 Degrees f, reveals a persistant watermelon seed/sinew note. explains my initial soapy note. indoor warms to a bright wine but with quite a full grip. not overoaked, not over extracted. watermelon keeps its tone, but adds chocolate- easter bunny chocolate- vanilla and brown sugar. hubby thinks it is reminicient of italian. with the acid+tannin finish. i do not feel the disjointment of most baby italians- more light and together.
