Tuesday, May 26, 2015 - I went to the cellar and grabbed this bottle without a lot of thought. We PnP this wine during dinner after a 2005 Quintessa. This wine was stellar. Deep dark red tone. Wonderfully deep nose with essence of cassis, blackberries, toast and peppers. The balance of this wine was terrific with subtle tannins and just enough acidity to help with the mouthfeel and finish. And what a terrifically long finish with layers of red ripe figs, jam, black currant, toast and a hint of mint. I will definitely decant the other Forman bottles in my cellar when it's time. This wine should peak in 3-5 years.
