Friday, August 12, 1988 - At MPL's house with MPL and BLR after work (from MPL's cellar). Gorgeous deep ruby color. Fabulous deep fruit on the nose. Smells of new vanillin oak. Very complex multiple nuances. Extremely lush, juicy, powerful fruit. Well-defined acidity. Great mouthful of medium-full-bodied wine. Really nice. Finishes fine but slightly short. 5-13-17-8: 93/100.
