Thursday, May 14, 2009 - This red blend has a dark-red (almost chestnut-like) color and displays aromas of ripe fruits, some vanilla, and spice (cinnamon?). Flavors are mostly dark berries but also contain some plum. Although the tannins are quite soft, the wine feels somewhat chewy but the finish is a little shorter than I expected. Overall, this is a great value for a very good table wine.
