This carries over onto the palate with sauteed mushrooms and a touch of molasses out of the finish. While it did improve with air on night one, I left half of it in the bottle for the next day and it had fallen apart quite a bit (however it was warm that day and so sitting on the counter in an 80-85 degree house probably was the culprit here). Interesting to me how I found a lot of the same characteristics in this wine that the previous tasters did, but found it to be utterly feminine, elegant, flavorful and enjoyable. Great QPR and I will definitely buy again.
