But the color of this 11 year old Grenache shows significantly more bricking and browning than it had 3 years earlier, which now extends into the nose with a hint of oxidation. That said, the fruit flavor is predominately a tasty red raspberry and the acidity is refreshing. While heading downhill, best drunk sooner, and getting lighter in body, the wine remains enjoyable enough to be good both by itself and with food.
