Saturday, November 5, 2011 - Dreamtasting #3 (Bernhard Eifel Restaurant, Trittenheim): Not the most complex or cerebral wine of the evening, but this wine made a good impression because of its freshness and weightlessness, which is an admirable achievement in this vintage (I gambled on a 2005 Mosel spätlese). Botrytis is hardly perceptible (if it's in there?). With its impeccable balance in acidity and sweetness, it is very hard not to swallow this wine. Good stuffing, exotic flavor, fine acidity. Yum. 17.5/20
