Monday, December 29, 2014 - A tasty wine. On its own had dark red fruit, baking spices, eucalyptus and a hint of vanilla - 90 points. We had this with Sue's beef stew, made with yellow potatoes (this time), cloves and a touch of sweetness (from the tsp sugar). The stew paired wonderfully with the wine, accentuating the baking spices and bringing out the sweetness of the wine. 92-93 points with the stew. Very good QPR for $20 on close-out. Drink now.
