When I first opened this wine I found it to be quite tart with biting acidity and a monotone flavor profile. After letting it sit in the decanter for an hour or two, it eveolved into sucha beautifully structured, nuanced wine that I was hugely surprised - but given my love for Skewis wines, I should have had faith! Beautiful notes of cherry and cedar and pretty firm tannins with a nice lingering finish. So, I write this to say that if you are drinking now, you must decant!
