Monday, May 4, 2020 - With a chicken, asparagus and creamy sauce pairing, this did not seem as small and discreet as I noted with beef and maître d'hôtel trimmings. Indeed it is just what I look for from a mature bourgeois claret. Unspectacular but well balanced with gracious fruit, some complexity and still firm finish. The effect is enhanced by a friendly price of c.€12. I hope the store still has some bottles. Good++.
