Palate similar to the nose but not quite as complex -- tasted reduced, syrupy -- very nice mouthfeel though. Moderate tannins with low to moderate acidity -- pretty well balanced. No rating on this since it would range from 85 to 95 depending on who you asked. For me, it was not a wine I necessarily enjoyed but definitely appreciated -- would give this a high 80s for its uniqueness (seemed a bit like one of the funkier Carlisle Syrah's but 10X more intense).
