Friday, December 25, 2020 - Believe it or not, 20 years down the road and it was FANTASTIC! So pleasantly surprised! Complimented Christmas Prime Rib with bread pudding very well. Lighter in color and not your typical nebbiolo. Medium to full bodied with complete palate coverage. Flavors of strawberry, raspberry and a hit of cherry and leather with a nose to match. No real tannins remain and acidity exists but not out of balance. Great QPR! Buy any vintage of this wine and don’t be afraid to hold 10-15 years or more.
