NOSE: dark fruits --- in the black/purple end of the spectrum; fumey; blackberry jam; caramel/oak.
BODY: medium-grained particulate matter present; dark garnet color of medium-great to great depth; slight bricking at the edges; medium-full to full bodied.
TASTE: very oaky; very tannic; 16.4% alc. can be tasted on the palate and felt in the belly; big/ripe; seems to have adequate acidity; oaky boysenberry jam; was much better in its youth; despite not tasting "aged," this wine is on the wrong side of peak. Drink now.
