Monday, August 15, 2011 - Popped and poured. Virtually opaque red-black color. Very spicy nose with mixed fruit and some oak. A bit lighter on the palate than prior bottles and not as richly fruity but still a potent syrah nonetheless with good acidity and virtually no tannins. This has calmed down significantly over the past year or so. Drink up.
