Sunday, October 31, 2010 - I've generally been disappointed with the way many vintages of this wine have aged but every once in a while they seem to hit it right and this '02 is a really good representation of this vineyard at its best. A very fresh wine with good acidity and great matching richness of blueberry fruit. A very elegant pinot texture that leads to a finely concentrated finish with note of minerals spice. Big-boned but with cool fruit. Perfectly ready now.
