Sunday, February 20, 2005 - WOW This is an incredible wine which is still very young. Decanted for 2 hours. Deep, purplish red color. Dark spice nose. Still fairly closed and somewhat tannic. Intense flavor of blackberries. I actually had fresh ones in the house and was able to confirm this. But then - the most incredible aftertaste I have ever experienced. It was almost more intense than the first taste and seemed to go on for minutes. I am so glad that I have 3 more of these.
