On the palate, this shows slightly restrained, high-toned dark fruit, earth, minerals, black tea, and light spice. While this put on a bit of weight with air, it didn't develop enough mid-palate density or length to be truly extraordinary. Delicious nonetheless. A dead ringer for a Burgundy (and I mean that as a compliment!)
