Monday, December 3, 2007 - Exceptional Oregon Pinot. We both loved this wine front to back. Full, sweet nose, but with hints of earth, licorice, hard candy (the kind your grandma had in her purse?), and a llittle berry as well. That 'Oregon Pinot' nose if you know what I mean. The entry on the palate is smoth and supremely balanced, R tasting mushrooms along with cranberries. I found the finish to be spectacular, very juicy and succulent, almost mouthwatering. R actually said '97', and she is usually more of a tough sell. Very well done.
