Sunday, June 1, 2008 - This bottle of wine has finally come around. I know there have been many fans of this wine over the years, but I always thought it was too tightly wound. Now that the tannins and acid have moderated over time this wine is still showing some fine fruit character, but with distinct rose, cardamom and nori notes. The still moderately present tannins would make this wine a good blind ringer for a Vosne-Romanee, 1ere Cru quality? Drank with Siggy at the LH Homestead.
