Sunday, February 22, 2009 - Definitely a food wine. Far too much heat dominates the fruit. Dark fruits are nice (raspberries, dark cherries and just a bit of plum) and take well over an hour of decanting to show up. It's a good wine, but a clear attempt to apply Burgundian style to the Willamette Valley. In this regard, it fails.
