Tuesday, January 22, 2013 - Fairly big Bordeaux blend with opulent fruit wrapped around a mineral core. You can have both! Structure provided by spiciness and acidity. Oak and tannins in the background. Day one had a dusty/savory nuance that faded by day two. Day three most of the fruit had fallen off. In a prime drinking window now. Surprised at the quality - never had a wine from this producer before. Score for day one.
