Tuesday, February 15, 2011 - First impression: lovely living colour, concentration, but not as deep as the Pontet-Canet, fresh fruit in the nose,
a balanced aftertaste and lots of ripe tannins. After four to five hours in the carafe the wine seemed to fall apart a little.
After three days in the fridge, however, the remaining wine had recaptured its starting profile of a young and promissing Bordeaux 2000.
I intend to retaste this wine next year.
