Monday, September 26, 2011 - nose: perfumed and elegant nose filled with tones of dark cherries, cedar, tobacco, cranberries, spice box, cassis and some bits of floral tones. Very good depth with a somewhat regal sense to the nose

taste: medium/full bodied with good tannins and medium acidity. Balanced with excellent depth and classy tones of dark cherries, spice box, cedar, tobacco and some cassis tones as well. Somewhat plump across the palate with smooth transitions

overall: this was decanted for about 3 hours before drinking. Has a pretty dark ruby color that is a little bit lighter and an ever so slight bit of bricking. This is showing well now, but it should also develop even better with more time sideways
