Friday, September 18, 2015 - The 1947 Chateau d’Yquem came out of the cellar of Peter and Margaret Lehmann and was a beauty. It was complex with aromas of truffled honey, caramel and crème brulee. It was full and luscious in the mouth with explosive power and a pleasant strand of vanilla weaving through the flavours. Length of flavour was outstanding.
