Tart cherry, black cherry, earth, blackberry, and a little herb on the palate. Good acidity and decent finish. After 3 or so hours of air, the tobacco and earth notes subsided a little and blueberry, flowers, and cassis came in. Acidity backed off a bit too. Finish was long and juicy however. Overall, a very nice wine, with enjoyable aspects as it gained air. 91-92
