Saturday, March 30, 2013 - A very nice wine, but it has two personalities: one on the PnP, and one about 2-3 hours later.

On the PnP, it is astringent and displays ripping acidity with little fruit; even a brickish almost-oxidative taste.

After giving the wine some air, silky smooth tannins surface, with sweet black fruits intermingled with bright red fruits.

All said, I think this is best consumed in short order as I think it will not last much longer.
