Friday, June 23, 2023 - Drank side by side with 1993 Dunn Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain. Colour just slightly redder than the Dunn but every bit as intense and bright. Mid-red and red fruit, forward, balsam and cedar wood on the nose. Palate is great example of Napa, rich fruit, balanced, mouth coating. Tannins still present but have to look for them. Long balanced finish. Also love the low alcohol. This is likely at its prime.
