Sunday, August 22, 2010 - Opened and poured, this wine shows in a big, rich style. The aromatics feature black cherry, mocha and oak notes. The color is a dark ruby to almost black. The medium/full bodied shows density and richness. The tannins make an appearance on the medium plus finish. The does lack finesse and it is not clear how this will benefit from additional bottle age.
