Saturday, May 9, 2020 - still pale straw colour, remarkable for age, classic aged Riesling nose with distinct hints of kerosene, classy, nose distinctly improved with time in the glass, kerosene burns off and underlying fine fruit complexity comes through, palate absolutely bone dry with steely intensity, particularly on middle palate, absolutely true to style, wine just continued to get better with time open and in the glass, after 3 hours it was really great, previous bottles I may not have left long enough
